Can I license multiple images at once?
Buyers can licence multiple images at once. This can be done by simply adding multiple items to a basket. Buyers can additionally preview their basket at any time by clicking on the basket icon in the header and selecting Basket Preview.
Licensing multiple images is only possible with digital downloads, printed products can only be purchased on an individual basis.
Do I need to create an account to licence images?
Buyers do not need to create an account to licence images through Picfair. Buyers can search for an image, license and download within a single transaction.
Whilst having a Picfair account isn’t a requirement, there are a couple of reasons why we recommend it. Most importantly, having an account means all the images licensed by a buyer will be saved under the Orders section of an account. This allows buyers to download previously licensed images should you ever lose your original download.
Setting up a buyer account can either be done via our sign up page or alternatively, at the end of the checkout flow when licencing an image, there will be a prompt to set up an account.
Will the photographer know how I’m using their image?
Whilst we encourage all buyers licensing Picfair images to let photographers know how their image is being used, buyers can choose to remain anonymous.
We understand that some buyers may have projects that are confidential which is why we allow buyers to keep the use private.
Picfair will hold buyer information so that we’re able to follow up if there are any reports of images being used improperly, but all information is confidential and won’t be released to photographers if a buyer chooses to remain anonymous.
Paying for images
After adding items to your basket, selecting the Pay Now prompt will take you to our secure checkout page where you can pay for the images you’ve licensed.
We’ll ask you for your email address and for your payment card details - we do not accept payments via PayPal or any similar platforms. Your email address is required for us to deliver the images to you, and you can choose to save your card details for later.
Invoicing and receipts
When you license images on Picfair you’ll receive an email that will itemise all transactions, including any applicable VAT and fees. Your invoice will also include Picfair’s VAT number should you need this for your records.
If you need Picfair's VAT number prior to receiving your invoice, you can use Picfair Limited - VAT No: 190414032.
If you require any other form of an invoice or paperwork from us, please contact us we'll be happy to assist.
