Can print orders be refunded?
All print orders at Picfair are custom-made and produced individually. Once a print is ordered, it goes straight into production with our print partner and is specifically designed to fit the size, positioning and cropping preferences selected by the buyer during the ordering process to create a bespoke print. This is why all orders are subject to a final preview and confirmation by the buyer before any payment is taken.
Within this process, funds are allocated to the photographer immediately. As we are an open platform for photographers to sell their images, once a print order is placed it's not possible to "take back" the funds from the photographer - this would go against our Contributor Agreements with the artists on the platform.
Refunds are not possible once a print order has been confirmed as we cannot recall an order once in production and the funds are transferred to the photographer.
In the unlikely event that an order is damaged during production or delivery, please contact us and we will arrange a resolution for you.
What happens if I'm not happy with the quality of print I’ve received?
We work closely with our print partner to ensure the print products we offer and deliver remain of an excellent standard and that all print orders are handled and packaged appropriately in transit.
If you’re unhappy with the service for any reason, please don’t hesitate to contact us with images of the order received and we'll review your issue.
