What to avoid when uploading to your Picfair Store: AI, CGI, filters, composite, & non-photographic images
All images uploaded to Picfair must comply with our Contributor Agreement and our image criteria. Images not complying will be flagged during the moderation process and detailed information about each problem reason can be found below.
Problem: Watermark/Overlay
Your image has a personal watermark, signature, date stamp, or overlaid text on it - we're afraid we don't accept these as we want to deliver a totally clean image when it's licensed. We add our own watermark - and your name - to the image to ensure it is protected, so there's no need to add your own. Please delete this image and re-upload a non-watermarked and text-free version if you wish to license it on Picfair.
Problem: Non-photographic
We accept a degree of edits and filters, but we don’t accept images that have been edited to the extent they no longer represent a likeness to the original photograph AI-generated imagery. We recommend keeping your edits as minimal and true to the image as possible - for some guidance, visit the video tutorial below which shows you some of the signs you may be overediting your images:
We also don't accept digital artwork, illustrations, paintings or computer-generated images on the site. Please see our dedicated blog post for more information on these guidelines.
Problem: Explicit
Your image has been taken down by our moderators as we classify its content as "explicit" - We don't accept images of this nature on Picfair.
Problem: File error
There is a problem with this file. Please ensure all images uploaded are jpg or heic in format. If you believe the image is the correct format, please contact us and our team will be happy to help.
Problem: Reported
This image has been reported by a user and we have taken it down while we investigate. Please contact us if you wish to know more.
Problem: Upload limit exceeded
This image is over your current upload limit and is not listed on your store. Please upgrade to Plus if you wish to restore images and access unlimited uploads.
