Payments overview
Picfair is a worldwide platform that allows photographers and buyers to upload and licence images from any country. We don't request payment information upfront or store it both to add an extra layer of security and because we find people's payment details may have changed between one payout and the next.
How do I know if I've made a sale?
Upon making a sale, you'll receive an email letting you know and inviting you to cash-out your money. You can also see a record of any sales from the 'sales' section of your account here.
How do I receive payments from my image sales?
When advising you of your sale, we'll ask you for either a PayPal email or a UK bank account. Bank transfer is only available to UK bank account holders.
If PayPal is not available in your country, we can pay you using Wise (formerly TransferWise) as an alternative payment method to PayPal. Once you make a sale, please get in touch and we'll be able to share specific instructions for receiving your payment via Wise.
How long does it take to process payments?
All cash-out requests are made in an average of 14 days of them being received and payments are made in £GBP. In periods of high sales volume, cash-outs can take a maximum of one calendar month to clear.
If you haven't received your payment within 30 days of your cash-out or if you have made a mistake when cashing out, please contact us.
